We're still up in the air about trying to get to Cheyenne today. The highway is open but road conditions are iffy. Sliding down a mountain in DH's truck is not something I want to do.

It's a beauty day today! Lovely fresh snow, partial sun, chilly but no wind!

Going to slap on some skiis this morning and go for a ski in the woods. Just having some coffee while DH clears some of the driveway

Children would not be so bad if we could just get some sleep DH and I started late with babies, he is 42 I am 38. We are too old for this.

Meh, "late" is the new normal. But apparently our bodies didn't get the memo!

howdy ho! Congrats on remembering to breathe while chasing around three little kiddos!

I love my kids! But there was very little uninterrupted sleep when they were little. Whew! A crazy whirlwind! Great fun, great memories, but crazy!

Things are much more sane now that the youngest is 9... and a full night sleep is possible. But I already know I will miss them something fierce when they leave home (especially all the work they do! nice! )

I have 5 boys, close to 10 years between the youngest and the oldest. Right now they are 9 to 19.

I am pretty religious myself, and I suppose that is partly why I have so many.. but I also think large families are great. We stopped because of medical complications with the last pregnancy. ... that scared us, we didn't want to risk a 1 parent household with a bunch of kids.




We had great snow... then it warmed up just enough to turn the world to ice.

I slipped and fell on Thursday... nothing broke... but man, I didn't enjoy it.
