Oh yeah... Also... ran out of propane for the bbq... it's so cold that I can't get the rip cord on the generator to pull so we can't plug in our electric heaters.

At least the sun is out enough to charge our solar system, so we do have some electricity.

Yay! Someone else who knows what Boxing day is! Happy Boxing day everyone.

We're in a world of hurt here. -31c. Our firewood is burning but not giving off much heat. Coffee is getting cold as soon as we pour it. Even the cat's drinking water was icing over. It's supposed to stay this cold for a week. Don't know what we're going to do. Can't go to our house in the city because of the pigs and chickens.

That bakeware looks great NFC. Very reasonably priced too. I may have to look into some...

Since you are getting a little electric... is there some electric something that you can use to thaw out the generator?

And how gummed up is it?

One year I remember watching my neighbor stand in the freezing cold, a blow drier plugged into the generator and aimed at the generator. ...

we aren't that cold... but we weren't heating. ... for Christmas we decided to have heat... funny, the olive oil on the counter finally went back to fluid.

I've been thinking about a couple more baking sheets. I only have 2 and that's not always enough. I should check to see what else they have for sale.

Brrrr. And I'm complaining about dipping below freezing this week. I'm sorry, I hope the weather man in wrong and it doesn't stay that frigid very long. Stay safe and as warm as you can.

I just came in from painting the trim on the goat shed a first coat. The crazy owl was hooting! No, it is not dark yet! I also cleaned out the bird feeder. Trying to figure out how to keep the seed dryer. I enjoy feeding birds when the snow flies.

There's a brand of bakeware I like, apparently Ron likes it too...his breakfast rolls were on the baking sheet from that company.
