Mom never had a driver's license, but drove the tractor. She was 65 when Dad died. Within 2 weeks she took and passed her driving test and got her license.

My god Mother was the same when my Uncle passed she had never even seen a checkbook or paid a bill she was intelligent maintained the maps for the state of Minnesota for 40 years.. my one cousin taught her the basics of driving passed the first time but had to go help her for a year she would go buy 100 in grocery then leave without them

For the longest time I couldn't drive an automatic. I kept pressing the brake all the way to the floor as if it were the clutch. Not a smart thing to do when you're merging onto a fast moving highway...

Yep! Sometimes I "push in the clutch" and go to shift down a gear at a stop sign....in a automatic!

Happy B-Day Cap! I have to check in to the Cafe just to keep the number of pages catch-up down... not that there is anything wrong with that...
DS$ won all of his dual bouts today and his team is in the semi-finals for tomorrow. I bet he is very happy.
Stay warm you all! High of 39F today here. I got the firewood reloaded and the water tanks topped off. Something to be said of the wind keeping things toasty!
