Looking like a disc problem in his back, but we are not ruling out an acute case of Lyme disease. Drew blood for the Lyme and put him on Dexamethasone for possible back problem. I had some Prednisone here that I put him on last night to get him through the night. Get the Lyme results tomorrow. I'm almost hoping it is Lyme disease.

Our old dog had Lyme once. It was awful. One day he was just laying at the bottom of the stairs, couldn't move at all. Wasn't even interested in food, which was really weird for him being a Lab. But we took him in (or my parents did) and I think they gave us medication for him and he recovered just fine, despite looking scary/severe at first. So I am hoping it is only Lyme in your case!

I'm sick today myself, asked DH if he wouldn't mind staying home so I could actually get some rest. Haven't had a "sick day" since we moved here, but it's hard to heal chasing after a toddler.
Still had to cancel plans with a friend who was coming from out of town tonight. Pretty bummed about it. I've got the stay at home mom-farmer cabin fever. (which is unrelated to the actual cold virus)

I'm sick today myself, asked DH if he wouldn't mind staying home so I could actually get some rest. Haven't had a "sick day" since we moved here, but it's hard to heal chasing after a toddler.

COFFEE ! Rough day so far. That expensive anniversary dinner messed my digestive system up big, and then I had to make an emergency visit to the veterinarian. Everything seems to be in order physically so I am having my first cup of the day. Good afternoon, Café.

Had me thought you took a relative to vet had to read more then figured it was a pet hope all are well including humans and animals yes they can get lyme disease but usually self limited
