The Shape of Water,

It is sorta unusual fantasy/romance - really a very tender story . Sourland called it bizarre and then added that he loved it.!!

Having underwater sex with an amphibian is not among my many fantasies - bizarre indeed, but I did love the movie - the Princess not so much.

I just saw on CNN that there's another Nor'Easter on the way.

Initially it was supposed to stay South of here, but they are revising the path as I type. We are still not supposed to get hit hard 1-3" of snow and winds around 35 MPH. Hopefully not too many trees will come down. Many are weakened by the previous two storms and wet non frozen soil.

Skipping the coffee today, more chicken broth and tea.
Wish I had woken up feeling better @Michelle Farmer-Brown ! Instead I've just got actual cold symptoms now. I was hoping the two-day lead up was a false start

I think we should be good for a years worth of syrup for sure. Last night's came out really cloudy, but for our own use it's no problem.

I need to somehow get my sick self and my sick toddler out to the woods today to get that sap...buckets may be overflowing from yesterday.
