12F - I'm sorry Margie, guess no one is having spring yet

Good Morning,
just now rolling out of bed. have not been sleeping well. So I will need to rush the dog out and greet the Chickens then I can start the other chores. Not cold here for that I am grateful! window therm says 76 but we are told it with storm today. We shall see if the weather mans coin toss was on or not. Lots of things I was wanting to do before the summer heat hits here.

My daughters MIL has offered to let me have some of her eggs. I gave her some silkies a few years ago she only had RIR and was not having any fun. said they were not friendly. I gave her 6 Silkies and now she has lots and lots and also has Naked Necks. So once I figure out the incubator, I think I will take her up on that. I got so tired of neighbor dogs and heart break I kind of took a break from the fun of things and just made sure everything was secure! and Now I am ready to fill my coop and my life with fun again! I absolutely LOVE candling and watching the little swimmers in their joy! I used to do that with Baby Bears eggs too!
I had forgotten how easily Chickens allow life glitches to drain away when you let them.

That will be exciting for you to get back to hatching and chicks! Chickens are good therapy for when life gets you down

morning gang off to set all to pay the bills have not slept well either

I had a dream this morning.
I am now considering putting some old pink insulation sheets we had under our pool up on the tin ceiling of the chicken coop. My thinking is that it would help to insulate From some of the summer heat?
any thoughts on that?

I will start a pot of hot water and some more coffee
