Let her have a few eggs

We don't have a rooster so I would have to buy some but I've always wanted to hatch baby chicks and it is spring time... if I break her now she might not go broody again in time for spring/summer chicks.

But I also have to move them to the new coop so I also don't really want her 1. Hatching chicks in the current set up and 2. Don't wanna move her while she's setting. Can you move broodies?

But I really want chicks

So make a small house for her with a run. Then get eggs. What breeds of chickens are you interested in?

That's a good idea!

And lots lol

But I really want to try Speckled Sussex, Wyandottes, Rocks, and possibly either a Welsummer or Delaware. But I also like Cochins. And I kind of feel like I should get some leghorns or sex links for eggs because I might start selling eggs. I might get more Easter Eggers too. I love mine. And I have a Barred Rock now but I really want a Partridge Rock as they're gorgeous. And maybe a good broody breed? Possibly want Dominiques. So, lots of chickens haha I just need to narrow it down cause I don't have that much room.

Kdogs, if you go to a doctor for a checkup and bring your list of symptoms, you'll find out what you really have and what to do about it. Much better than imaging what you might have and doing nothing but worry.

Hmm that's a good idea! I might have to do that.
