BYC Café

Thank you for the coffee :)
I'm still stuffed up but don't feel like tea this morning. I have to somehow clean up the house as my parents are coming down for a few days; at least it's a rainy day I won't feel like I'm missing out on being inside.
And this weekend is coop building!

Ah shoot - and I have an eye twitch. Those things are so annoying. Developed yesterday, I guess it's still around. Probably the coffee is not going to help

Wow sour, sounds like summertime!

Good morning. We are going to get to 88* today. No spring for us in Alabama.

What part of AL do you live in chickadoodles? My sister lived in Sylacauga for about 14 years and liked that part of the state.

I live in central sw Alabama. I'm between Selma and Demopolis. I do love the country life but I don't like the towns we are close to. We usually go to Tuscaloosa to shop and that is about 85 miles from us. I do love living in Alabama!

Was 88 the other day, 80s yesterday, but then it got cloudy and rained briefly yesterday afternoon which cooled it down some. And then it rained last night too and was still somewhat cool and damp this morning but now is heating up I think or at least has dried off. But still cooler than yesterday and the other day.

I hate eye twitches! You must be nervous or worried. Hugs.

The poor chickies were hot and panting (well only 2 of them) but I gave them grapes, big 1/4 watermelon, and wet kale and collard greens the first day and grapes yesterday along with ice in water. Plus was misting them both days. Yesterday I drenched them figuring they'd dry in the sun but then it got cloudy and rained soon after lol oh well.

I need to get more shade for them.

There is shade in the mornings and affernoons but full sun during the day. And it would appear midday the shade falls right behind the run where they can't get to. So I need to figure out how to make shade inside the run without shading out their favorite dust bathing spots

Maybe put up a tarp where you want shade?
