the old hot pot is in the garbage did not fin one at Costco but did at walmart it is Hamilton beach ticked me off many just plastic flimsy the one we bought is stainless

well.... I would say baby goats are smarter... they sure do get into more trouble... seriously, LESS than a week old and climbing all over tarnation!

But the new baby girl... for the first 2 days kept trying to nurse SIDEWAYS on the teat, or nurse between mama''s front legs Mama,was good, just talked to her and stood nice and still... but I think that one baby girl has fluff for brains ... luckily it only lasted 2 days... she now knows the squirty end of the teat must go in the mouth.

I guess I have had a few chicks that had to be helped learn to eat....

I think adult goats are way smarter than chickens... a lot like a dog in amount of smarts... but a prey not predator species.... So a very different way of seeing the world.

Al, I agree with you on the "smarts" of kids to chicks. I always figured the more trouble they can get into, the smarter they must be. Have fun moving that pile!
