You know when your young you don't think about such things.
Growing up on a ranch/farm is probably one of the most hazardous places to do so, I still have all my fingers and toes, limbs(we'll, sort of) nearly cut my finger off while skinning a rabbit, nearly cut my leg off above the knee with a chain saw, also bitten by a non poisonous snake and still I was very, very careful. Had to be very safety minded, because I was operating heavy equipment at age 9 and my dad "hit me over the head"
with being safe everyday. I watch my weight, eat right, and generally live a pretty healthy life but really didn't start thinking about it until I was around 45.
I just think it's a cliche that gets over used, I mean, you hear everybody with any age on them at all use that phrase.
