BYC Café

Huh, interesting. I've never had that issue. But I'm guessing leaving them out in the heat is bad then? My mom says it is but I didn't think it was. I thought eggs had a protective coating?
I have had eggs ooze in the incubator at about day 10 and on. Outside it usually takes a couple of weeks in the summer

Huh, interesting. Idk what our kitchen temp is. Don't they not refrigerate at all in Europe and Middle East though?
Don't know about the middle east... but in Germany they usually aren't refrigerated, even in the stores... but most stores are way below 80, and kitchens there tend to be cool too... really thick walls in the old houses.

Wow that's a long time! I guess I was just curious why Margie had so many bad ones. Is that because the hens start to incubate them?

That makes sense, never thought of that. I thought I read somewhere that at like markets and stuff they have them out and/or that everybody just keeps them on their counter in bowl or those egg spirally things.

Good morning Cafe. Speckled Sussex hatching!:wee:love
