asbestos is horrible. I hope you are wearing mask respirator - PLEASE. It used to be in baby powder. You know when you show heavy coated light colored dogs- I got stuck doing it as a flunky .First you wet them down - then work half a container of powder into their coat. Let it dry and THEN before show time - brushing it all out. I used to be snow white. It coated my hair, face, nose, clothes. Boss didn't care, didn't even get his hands dirty.

This went on for years before people were told to buy baby powder made from corn starch, don't know if that was any better. Hope human babies fared better than me.

We do love the place made cookies tonight cream cheese, butter, sugar and flour

I made Betty Crocker cookies - you know in the gold bag just dump on a cookie sheet.Horrible taste. Never used to be like that. Still had nothing else to eat so I ate them. Awful, cured me. The bus dispatcher won't let us go anywhere this week said he is full of dr. appts. and NEXT week too. Actually you can guess what he is really full of.

I told him I have a doctor appt. Well he more or less told me tuff T's. I told him eyes are more important than having toenails cut for a week. Then I hung up on him. My brother said he'd take me on Dec.10 if I got a late afternoon apt. So I changed it.
It will be about a month then after my eye problem started. "Mouff muff birds. " That's a child's version of you can imagine.

G'morning cafe :frow

I was awakened almost an hour ago with a puppy tongue in my ear :rolleyes:sweet but the paws in my mouth were a bit much:gig

There's coffee and hot water. I have crumpets and lemon curd or you can make a sandwich with them and add eggs and bacon. It's on the counter.

Happy Wednesday everyone. I'm not at the salt mine and get to plant the carrots:woot

We had a lot of popcorn stuff in our house and removed most of it. Nasty stuff and sometimes has asbestos in it!
That popcorn stuff is called Artex in the UK. It's a nightmare and is usually used to hide structural defects and cracking plaster.

IM, thanks for the coffee and crumpets.

DH is headed back to Casper for more drywall work. He does wear a respirator and a one-piece overall suit. Not a lot for me to do this time, so I'll stay home and take care of the cats and chickens.
