Aw Shad, we are just your BYC friends but, I bet if you took a poll - you'd find we wish you would give up smoking and extend your expiration date. Well maybe not the most serious smokers but, then they probably would be smoking till they shut the coffin lid.

Is the "left behind salmon"- smoked? Probably what it died from

I agree everyone isn't meant to have kids by that I mean they don't want them. Good enough reason. I did- had two miscarriages and was down in the dumps. Had a threatened miscarriage the third time. BUT a very good Ob-gyn got me through it. I don't understand all of it but, had 2 or 3 very painful shots in the behind to keep pregnancy going. Then he told me couldn't have any more BUT, I had a cyst on an ovary (said it like it was great thing??) and he said that would take over. Whatever, he was RIGHT.

Would have loved to have more kids but at 38 was lucky to have one. My mom and I had hoped for twins but not to be. I have never regretted having a baby.

What people don't realize is - IF "someone" didn't want kids 'they' would not be here to complain about it.

My parents understood and accepted that aspect of me so well they bought me a bumper sticker that read "If I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet I'll put shoes on my dog".

BTW I used to go to Chuckie Cheeses with my then young nieces. We had a ball, I loved that place . Having kids with me was my chance to experience it. Loved it again many years later when I had my own child.

Coffee is made.
Someone staying at the big house left almost a kilo of salmon behind so help yourselves.
I'm not very keen on it.
Minus numbers here overnight. Taps frozen etc etc.
Suns out now. Clear blue sky. It looks like it's going to be a lovely day.

I knew we were heading into a cold snap so I dried all the rain water out of the sliding door channel and sprayed the rail down with white Li grease. The door opened for me this morning where it will typically freeze shut and I have to thaw it out with my hair dryer.
We'll be heading into single digit (F) nights in a day or two and staying in the 20's during the day for about a week. Brrrrr!

I don't like the sound of those single digit F numbers.
It rarely gets down past 30 degrees in your money thankfully.
