I think I am in love. :love I was all suited up and shoveling snow when the man from across the street came to talk to me. He's been living there for years and never said a word. I get his mail and put in his box. He gets mine etc. Mail carrier can't tell the difference between 8610 and 8601.
WELL he asked if he could use his snow blower to clear my substantial driveway. He did it so fast, my jaw hit the ground(ouch). I guess technology has it's place.

Yes, this man is married but, he has two gorgeous sons that look just like Chris Hemsworth from THOR- Marvel's movie. I bet they are my son's age, but totally unrelated to me. :). My mood is rapidly improving. In fact one of them asked if he could do my driveway when they first moved in years ago. Get this, I was dumb enough to say "thank you but I love shoveling snow, its my favorite form of exercise ." (well it was)

Men make me nervous when they are kind, generous, easy going and respectful. I have no experience dealing with that.

Okay it's just a fantasy but, it will keep me going for quite awhile. Like until I can get some more ice cream. I realize now I have to let his company with a brigade of cars- backup all over my front lawn and probably the driveway their dad just cleared. Plus their cat will continue to crap in my flower bed.

BTW man across street has a driveway that is postage stamp size. I could never figure out why someone with loads of friends & company would settle for that. Think he has had his eye on my empty driveway since they moved in.

at any rate thank G*D for sending him over.

That's so sweet that you let him use his man toy in your drive! Lol!:p
But you struck a familiar chord when you talk about your mistrust toward kindly men. I had similar misgivings before hubs came along, just based on what I presume were experiences like what you described in previous posts. After 14 years alone and 3 different marriage proposals along the way, I was completely over it. Had impossible high standards after seeing some of the worst behaviors. But turns out I was my own worst enemy, and my picker was badly broken!

I've had a look throught your media pages @CapricornFarm and could you send me the lighthouse. :lau I like that a lot.
Do you have your own kiln and wheel?
And that lighthouse had landscapes inside like a cave and lots of cross pieces and scenes inside.

My untensil holder.

Each piece of that lighthouse weighs at least 100 pounds or more! I had to sell it when we moved.
I used to have my own kiln and wheel, but sold it when we moved. Made me sad.
Shame, not only is it a lovely looking piece of work but it's off base enough for my taste.
