No rain as of yet, it 'spit' rain yesterday...just cloudy today.

Yesterday our rain spit so hard it turned into snow. Guess you don't have to worry about that

No darn it, I can't make it tonight after all. I went to the grocery store this morning but forgot to get corn tortillas

So for tonight DH gets his choice, either chicken Alfredo or a white pizza.

Those both sound great as alternative options! I'm sure a home cooked meal together will be a nice change.

Funny, we were talking on the phone the other night and I asked him what he was having for dinner...turns out, we were both having cheese and crackers at that same time.

I suspect you might get some soon. We had a steady drizzle to light rain for several hours yesterday and there's more on the way.

I'm working on a brush pile for the quail but don't think I'll get it done in time. I'm having some coffee to warm up, then going back out to see if I can find any large pieces of bark in the pile out there to make things more water resistant for now.

It's weird how in tune you become with your partner isn't it? And what we do to feel them around when they're not.

You reminded me of when I was in CT years ago on business. I had the tv on just because my husband would at home. When we talked on the phone we were both watching the same movie.
