Life is too short to harbor grudges - I refuse to do so.

"Take on Me" is one of my favorites. I didn't discover that song when it came out. But did when the singer was 54 years old. I must have missed other good stuff too. Can't get work done when I listen to music though. Music sends me somewhere else and I forget(conveniently I suppose) what chores I'm supposed to do.
I used to dance holding my son - when he was still small enough to do so. I'd do some silly dance and then do "cha cha cha." and pick up the pace. He loved that and would laugh.
Would add some dips and twirls. Then ended up losing him to video games. They grow up so fast.
Can't really do modern pop. I don't know if it's any better or worse then the pop when I was young. I think you need to be of the generation to appreciate it.DD I played video games with my son. When he was in 3rd grade his teacher tried to chastise me for letting him play all through Winter break and again on Spring break. We were having a meeting to discuss holding him back a year. I told her that he learned to read because I TAUGHT HIM while playing video games, something she couldn't accomplish in school. There were a few other things said, not particularly nice, but he went to 4th grade and did great, he was an A/B student. Yes, we spent the summer playing Zelda among our bike rides and park trips to play frisbee or swim.
As for Take On Me, I've known the song since it came out, even enjoy it, but it surprised me to hear him sing it. Our house is mostly rock music these days. Can't do the pop thing any more unless it's older stuff.
