Just bought a French coffee press, soooooo, everyone help yourself, just made a fresh brew.

I've never tried one of the pearl drinks. When DS was going to school in Ann Arbor they seemed to be really popular but they looked to me like drinks with tapioca in them.

The best pearl drinks were from a place in San Francisco's China town. We have quite a few places that sell them here.

I love it! We have a lot of great restaurants and even an International store with a lot of hard to get ingredients

Do you ever have flooding IM?

Not really. Some temporarily around our neighborhood when it's pouring. We have water catchment systems here to collect runoff.

I understand what you're saying, I miss California weather so much. Monsoon bites in Phoenix though.

Yeah, my brother lives out there. We try to never go in the summer. I don't mind the heat, but the monsoons are a deal breaker. I was out there once during monsoons. He had just moved & we didn't know yet that was a thing. I haven't been there during a haboob yet & hope not to be... those look scary!
