coffee should be brewed at 195F to 205F. My tea kettle has temperature settings on it. It goes from 140 to 212 for different brewing. Some tea needs to be in the lower range

Funny you mention that. I've been shopping for a new kettle and looking at the programmable options. Do you have a brand you'd suggest?

I look for deals on amazon. I found one for my office that is 30.00. It only has two ratings but they are good ones

I feel terrible for the families that are missing people. I lived in the midwest as a kid and we knew families in similar situations. It's devastating.

We don't have a storm cellar or basement! We will be in the bathroom hiding in the tub.
Some of the families that were in the tornado were completely wiped out! 7 people in 1 family all gone. The community has paid for all the funerals of everyone who was killed. Heart breaking.

Maybe you need to take a look at moving out of that area! Stay safe.

Not gonna be able to move before Saturday! Hubs built this house in '92 never had any storm damage, he isn't considering a move anyway.
