Dogs like that on CL ( mix of LGD breeds) are $450 ! Crazy!

I got her on CL! They were asking $150. I offered $100, and got the pick of the litter. They are planning on breeding them again, so I'm considering at least 1 more.

That last picture...she's already watching over her flock!

She was around chickens at the place we got her from, shes curious but cautious. Dude intercepted her each time she thought about chasing.

Smart dog!! That’s good you have another dog to help teach her the rules!! Makes it much easier!!

Tonite they were playing on Dude's bed and you could really tell he is starting to enjoy her personality!

Hubby saw one with a baby bear about a year and a half ago. It saw him and ran off.

In DHs former life, he had a pretty large black bear that bent over a 15' metal pole with a bird feeder on top. Snapped the thing right in half.

Soon after DH replaced it, he heard the dog going bonkers and looked out the window to find same bear about to begin act 1 scene 2. DH ran out the front door onto the porch, arms up and waving, screaming like a banshee. The bear was standing up when this happened and when it saw/heard DH it farted and took off for the woods! DH almost scared the crap outta that bear!!

His mood never improved as the day progressed. Oh well.
I got the front side of the roof on the shed-to-be-coop reframed and water tight. I had to keep kicking the chickens out. Fabio did approve the construction inspection to date at least.
