Being outside IS fun, at least until Summer. Once I get groceries I'm done for today other than making dinner. I have a date with the puppies this afternoon for some playtime.

I love the smell of the desert in spring. We used to go camping out in the middle of nowhere in the desert when I was kid and being here always reminds of that.

No place like it! I used to work in a bar and after work a few of us would go out in the desert and just wait for the sun. All the critters return to their hideouts, and the cool air starts to heat up.

Around here the bluebirds nest early in order to beat the nest site competition from tree swallows and house wrens.

We dont see alot of Swalllows and just some Wrens. But tons of Bluebirds!

Isn't it someone in this thread who used to go camping where there was a huge ladybug colony but something was happening to destroy them?

I don't know Pert, maybe someone that's been in the Cafe longer than me will remember.

DS$ got 5th and I am thinking that he is thinking... But he now has some seeding points for any of the other biggies, which is good. The guys are going to stop over in NE and wrestle again tomorrow at some other national, but I am guessing (I know) that it is a smaller national. I can't wait to hear the stories and insight from this experience. Still snowing here and last night was cold, low teens.

We may butt heads constantly but I love the little guy. I let him plan the day and his first statement was “what’s mom and pop paying you?”
