Mom had the cylinders for emergency backup when the power went out. I ran tubing through the attic to all the rooms so she could use the generator in any room and not have to lug a cylinder around.Mine did too. She had tanks though.

Mine quit 'cold turkey' at 54 years old, after her 3rd time of going to the emergency room. She passed away at 72. Your mom was smart to quit. Everyone in my mom's family is dead from smoking.
