I just got my garden tilled in the valley and only planted some seeds up here by the house.
June 1 is a pretty safe time to plant... usually...
My cabbage starts are sitting here watching me type.

Congratulations @CapricornFarm ! That's an amazing milestone.

Hello, café! Hope all is well with everyone. Been busy at work and home. Moved all of our stuff out of our room and into the kids room, as he'll be moving out here in the next week or so. He bought a new little trailer that we got moved a few days ago onto his lot down the road from us. 19 and has property and a house, love it! Mama will be here on Thursday, so trying to get everything done before she gets here. It's getting close :)

Hope everyone has a great day.

It sounds like things are moving along nicely!

Good afternoon cafe,

Just came in from harvesting our first tomatoes this year. Can't wait for the salad tonight!

There's fresh coffee, help yourselves.
How do you water your tomatoes IM? The tomatoes here tend to split very easily. I've tried a soak hose drip feeding water and while they split less, they are not 'perfect'.

You're probably over watering. I only water once a week and have a layer of hay in the garden to mulch. I always check the soil first though because sometimes I leave it for up to an extra week.

Tomatoes can grow roots a foot deep. If they droop in the afternoon heat but perk up in the evening I don't water mine.
