BYC Café

Because you can't really mix roosters, especially in a bar, the rule is only one person brings a fowl. My turn hasn't come around yet. I don't really have a favorite. They've all got something special about them; as have the hens. The more elderly hens, well I've known them a long time so I suppose I treat them slightly differently. Given they are the seniors, the juniors don't take umbrage.

The younguns showing a little respect for their elders? Nice!

Morning! IM, hugs and I am sorry.
Shad, sounds like a good day for sure.
Cold, snow and fog here again. Coldest May since 1950 or some such thing or 1930 for snow totals.
thanks for the hot coffee!

Same here Margie...cold, snow and fog. :sick

Best of luck on the wrestling Margie!

Morning Cafe!

Would have been here sooner but had about 80 posts to catch up on...the Cafe was hopping yesterday.

I suggest you leave out every other word and call it a mystery! :gig

Thanks for the link Margie, I'll check it out!

Best wishes to Meaty Roomy!

So sorry for the health issues IM. Sharing what you're going through in an article could be a real help to others. :hugs

And now for another pot of coffee...

Thanks NFC

Well, she turned up with a gorgeous Black Minorcan rooster. She has 3 tribes. Apparently the two roosters kicked off in the van so she took one back.
I've got to say this, her rooster made the lot here look like bag ladies.
Clean spurs that looked like ivory. A couple of small fight wounds on the comb but healing up nicely. Perfect leg scales and very well behaved.

Well it sounds like she polished him up nicely for you guys Shad lol.

Lost an adult guinea. No feathers or anything. Might have ran off. Other guinea was sad so I dropped it off with the chickens until my other guineas are larger. Rooster likes the guinea a little too much. Mated with it first thing. It’s a hot and humid 88* here. School ends for DB tomorrow. He starts as a junior next year. His report card shows a few grades that grounded him. Time for some brotherly bonding and see why he failed math and history. Those are his favorite classes. Circumvent my parents grounding of him by taking him to grab a bite to eat after school tomorrow.
