I’m just terrified of heights. I can do a tree stand if I have a harness.

Thought I’d share some photos I took this morning of our lake. And it turns out I have two drakes and one hen. One drake can’t mount in or out of water due to that old broken leg that healed wonky.

Morning! Yes, DS@ is a hotshot and is currently down by the Grand Canyon. He wanted to be a smoke jumper but then met and had to work "with" a team up in Oregon and when he came back from that assignment, he had nothing positive to say about that crew. I think a bit of arrogance and snippiness had something to do with all of that. But I am sure there are good crews out there, he just ran into a not so friendly one.
I hope the fires miss you. Not a fun situation to be in

Good morning, Cafe.
I've brought my own creamer for the coffee this morning and will pass on the ants.
I'm going to try to get the run secured and open for business this weekend.
I'm working on breaking my second broody. This time it's number 2 in command. I wonder if this broodiness is going to march it's way down the ranks and I'll be fighting it all summer long.
