So you keep them in a field usually? I used to work with the cows and bullocks on my uncles farm a bit. He supplied a particular company with organic meat which was very unusual in those days.Yep, destined for the sale barn (steer). We'll figure out which one we're keeping when we bring them home. The one we're feeding out now is about ready. He's been getting peas every night because he's with a long horn that our youngest is growing out. I guess we're going to try and finish him on corn, which we've never done. So hopefully he's better than the rest have been, but that'll be hard to beat!
We have them here!No, no ticks! They are cockleburs. Lots of hounds tongue around hereI don't know if you guys have the same weed, but the seeds are like little chunks of very strong Velcro. Great for cows and dogs alike
