Someone told me here on BYC that 3 days in the fridge should do the trick. I was moaning that chicken tended to be rather tough. I think the age you kill them makes a difference. I don't seem to manage doing stuff by age so I've tried cooking some pensioners.Thanks Margie! Hubs is familiar with all of it and I got some practice with the quail. These are naked necks so less feathers which is a definite plus.
I've read different things here about how long to leave them in the fridge though. 3 days or so before freezing? Anyone?
