Well they are cousins to my dad from one of his great uncles. They traveled all the way here because my great great uncle apparently passed away and left it to my dad as he is the oldest male in the family line. They are actually Romani and not German (gypsies) so the walking stick has been blessed and it has traveled many miles. It apparently has divination properties or something. They traveled here to deliver it and wanted to see where it was going as they have never met my dad. So it looks like I’ll get it eventually. They left happy and content and invited us to come to Germany someday.

:eek:That's a GREAT story!!!:clap I'm so glad I asked! :wee

Well the family is finally gone! Earlier than expected too! There was a will issue with them. My dad apparently got a family heirloom. It’s been in our family since the early 1800’s apparently. It’s a nice walking stick. Supposedly sacred. In other news I got more pics of my animals! Thanks to DB for showing me how to edit pics on my phone. Got a few guineas in the pics, a nice shot of the voluptuous Miss Piggy Sue, a pic of one of my roosters (with a curious turkey) and pics of my newly born bunnies!!!!! They are 11 days old. There are more than these, but these were the ones uncovered.

What a gift! How wonderful of them to bring it over. You know it's serious when something sacred is given, and man what a history it must have! If it has been in the family that long then it's obviously very important.

She is a very happy pig and still not overweight! She has another 150lbs to get that far

My dad hasn’t said much about it but I figure he will soon. He knew what it was.
