You have put a lot of thought into this. Five whole seconds?
So, to work out the logistics of this new biz, do we swap houses? You'd have to take care of all my critters while I build the coop & run!
Sure, why not? I could use a change in scenery

Will DL have to do battle with the smoker?
That's a comforting theory. I like it. Wiley chickensJust been out checking them over. I can't find a scratch.
This is good just in itself, but a hawk that doesn't make a kill in a strike is less likely to try again and the strike is fresh in the minds of the chickens so they'll be extra cautious for a while.
That's the theory anyway.![]()
Lordy, sounds like a lot of testing. Why the dental? I know oral health can be a big factor, just don't know about AD much.Well... he passed the MMSE score requirements, they did the EKG and drew I don't remember how many vials of blood and took a oral rinse sample. We have to get scheduled and go back for a dental exam and a MRI, both of which have to be done down there. I asked if they could be scheduled for the same day. They are going to try. This spending over half a day driving and being at the clinic takes a toll on me. I passed out when we got home.
Because I am sick of waiting for the trial to actually get him enrolled and started on the drug, I have scheduled a vacation for him (and me) to go down to WV and VA to spend about 10 days with his daughter and son. We both need it and I think he'll really enjoy himself. His kids are going to be in for an eye opener though. I will stay home to work and try to get the roof on the house started.
The drug being tested attacks the protease caused by the bacteria p. gingivalis which gets into the brain and causes the damage to the cells.Lordy, sounds like a lot of testing. Why the dental? I know oral health can be a big factor, just don't know about AD much.
I'm glad you are taking yourselves on a vacation, Tonya. Being a caretaker can be very taxing. That's rough the kids don't know quite how it is. On both sides.

Oh I'm not going with him! That would not be a vacation for me. It may sound mean but I just have to get away from him from time to time. It takes a lot to act like you are answering his questions as if you are hearing them for the first time instead of the hundredth. And that goes on all day long, day after day. He doesn't even really understand what is going on with the division of my company that I work in being sold and shutdown.
