It's felt like an oven here today. The actual temperature didn't get over 100 degrees but the humidity was really low. It's still too warm now, 2045 at dusk.

It's been a difficult day on the difficult day scale here.
I won't dwell on the crap.
On the positive side, Ruffles chick learn't to perch today.
It's immensely pleased with this new skill and it has spent most of the afternoon practicing. It's perched on mum; she wasn't impressed. It's perched on me; cute but inconvenient. It's made the first rail on the fence outside numerous times.
It's also become considerably more confident. I assume because of it's improved agility.
I still don't have a clue what sex it is.
I've got a lovely looking welt on my hand where the elastic on my sling shot snapped
I was trying to hit a stray dog that was in with the donkeys. The thing is, a kick from one of the donkeys will kill the dog stone dead. This particular dog seemed too stupid to work this out. I had hoped a shot from 20 something metres in it's bum would discourage any further death wishes.

Maybe like us temp not humidity we are not normally humid here. Okay went to auction poultry sold the two 10.50 each bought 7, 2.00 apiece mixed bag none laying age EE and laced barred 2 buff warm here high 80's yahoos here there is a blueberry festival here every year have to deal with idiots parking all over
