Hello cafe

I brought home 12 eggs with 3 different hatch dates and one lonely chick. I'm headed to Tractor Supply after my dr appt to get it a friend. I am such a sucker I swear.

I can hear it now...DR: Why is your blood pressure so high? ME: Um, I have this addiction and I'm going to have to explain the chicks in the brooder to my husband later...

True. Or maybe quail cause they are soooo small LOL

You can collect A LOT of them quickly and in a small space.

And they hardly eat anything.

I picked up a White Leghorn pullet to keep the Turken mix company. The little thing was in there looking so forlorn. It seems much happier now although if I stick my hands in there it runs right over for some attention. I've since added some paper towels and a larger plastic pb jar lid for water...once it's almost dark I'll see if they want to snuggle under the heat plate.

I picked up a White Leghorn pullet to keep the Turken mix company. The little thing was in there looking so forlorn. It seems much happier now although if I stick my hands in there it runs right over for some attention. I've since added some paper towels and a larger plastic pb jar lid for water...once it's almost dark I'll see if they want to snuggle under the heat plate.

You're so sweet, loving on your siblings. Admitting you'll miss them even. My kids were like psssh get outta here lol.

I gush on them all the time. My brother’s friends come over for snacks and stuff. I always put out a spread, take them out for pizza, drive them around. Don’t get me wrong, they annoy the hell outta me too.

It seems there's a few years between you and your little brother. That can be a difficult gap to close but you guys seem to do just fine, I think that's pretty great. But yeah, younger siblings can be real PITA I agree

I was the youngest of 3 but when Ma married Dad he had 2 sons that where grown already they liked the kid sister still have a great relationship with them
