BYC Café

Good morning cafe. Thanks for the coffee. Gonna be another hot one today.
I've quit both addictions of booze and tobacco but the hardest one to quit was "wild women ".
:gig:gigI haven't found a 'cure' for wild women either, Pert! I'll get in trouble for saying this if my GF reads this! :lau

Morning! Hugs, Bunny and DL. :hugs :hugs
My Mom quit smoking maybe 6 months/ year before she died at 92. Some things just are not worth fighting about. Time is precious... I would just make sure we didn't blow up when she was on O2 and she was always good about smoking outside.
Have a wonderful day you ALL! Hugs, too.
Morning Margie, have a great day!

Sorry Margie, my friend Linda had asthma don't think I spelled that right. She still smoked like a house on fire. Her kids used to cry and beg her to stop. But she'd keep smoking even with the oxygen tank in the room. She could have blown them all sky high and didn't care.

She used to beg me for money to gas up the car. Then she'd use a gas card. She just wanted the money for cigarettes and I wasn't gonna help her. Her husband ended up divorcing her and got custody of the kids. By now they are probably college age.

BTW Linda also had another trick. She wanted (in her words) to" borrow me some money" to get her kids peanut butter. I did better than that. I brought her peanut butter.
She said "what's that for?" I reminded her she needed peanut butter for her kids.

I saw her once in the hospital (asthma attack) and she had asked me to bring her a bottle of coke and cigarettes. She got the coke- got nasty about not getting cigarettes and I never had anything to do with her after that.
