That heat is madness! We might hit 100 once or twice a year, but not this year. Usually, it's 90 through July and August. A balmy 77 today The rain we got this weekend put a hurting on the fires, so we're pretty smoke free now.

There were some fires over towards Pinole On Sunday. Luckily they got them out quickly

That's true, IM. I'm constantly complaining about the weather, but I guess I count myself lucky to have not much else to whine about.

Thanks for asking Meg I don't think she even knows she hurt my feelers and I haven't brought it up. She's been home from AL for less than a week and her house sold yesterday with a 2 week escrow. Not a good time to bring anything up.

Yes well been up since 7:20 this am laying what is left of the field wire taking small nap no sleep but prone with my eyes closed just not on the computer

It is here in the Stockton Channel currently. It is here most summers though and it is the type of blue algae that is dangerous. There was a warning about it this week in the news

Yes it seems to be a lot more common this year for some reason!! Lots of dogs have been dying this year!!

No she went to visit my sister there, she lives here in AZ. She kept saying she was moving back down to the valley, she's 45 minutes away, but today they're looking at places North of here easily the same distance

Made 'ice coffee', if anyones interested. It's 104° as I type this, heat index 111°. Just checked on my birds, they are all taking the heat pretty well, not eating as much in the heat but water is going like I had a sale on it!
