So am I! It's a really irritating because I like dogs.

I am that way somewhat with Luna. She is long haired. I had no problem with short haired cats.

I never let my dogs lick me. Its easy enough to train them not to... Go back tomorrow & get one.

Its interesting how many severe allergies I have, but none of them to animals. I definitely feel very blessed.

I am also we laugh as I have the two cats with long coats my ragdoll and my siamese love them dearly but cannot have them close to my face

I am not allergic to anything, that I've found, and I don't mind dog kisses Not incessant licking, of course. Can count myself lucky on the allergy part! Although, Ma got pollen allergies in her forties So... Hope that's not something to look forward to.

No. I plan to build them (just the one pair) a 600 square foot run.
Ideally I would like to keep them free range but with the current chicken keeping arrangements it's just not possible. My hope is that despite having been a captive breed for many generations they have otherwise had so little interference from the breed for looks crowd that like the chickens here they would return to more natural keeping conditions within a couple of generations.
I have two rolls of weldmesh fence that I brought with me from the UK. The place the run would go has trees and shrubs and varied ground. My long term goal is to introduce a semi feral population to the area. There is another man further up the mountains who is doing something similar with breeding pairs of Fayoumi chickens.
I'm also considering as an alternative helping extend the Fayoumi project. They are a more sociable breed and once again the quality of the birds is excellent.

I am still talking to the park administrators about the project.
There used to be a feral population of Minorcan Blacks here that were thriving until the halfwits that call themselves hunters shot most of them.
