He can borrow mine! Though she may just stare at it or catch it then let it go....alive!!!

That’s what she did with a chipmunk once. My parents once watched her carry a chipmunk across the yard, thinking it was dead cause it was so still, only to discover it was actually alive and she dropped it, played with it a bit, then just watched it walk off!!

I've just seen a mouse run across my floor!
I'm going to have to catch it now.

We have cats for that ~ but none of us girls can stand the way the mice cry when caught so we have to rescue them & release them in the yard. The man says they come right back in. He's probably right but ...
