I'm just not a cat fan. Everywhere I've lived where there has been a cat there have been flea problems, ripped up clothing, cat shit on the paths which smells awful to me, worse than broody shit. Despite all that washing I just haven't found them to be clean and likable creatures.
I've never caught a flea from a chicken and they don't even knock much over let alone shred everything in sight.

Ah, well. We all have our little failings. I have cats & chickens but I won't keep a dog & if I had my way they would be banned from the island.

Outdoor cats can be pretty gross for sure but indoor kitties are very clean.

Or even indoor/outdoor.

And they invented flea and tick preventatives for a reason.

I try not to kill anything I'm not going to eat.

I'm with ya, Shad. Cats are not my favorite animal in the world. They do stink to high heaven! The only thing that compares is hot, wet pig poo's
