Good afternoon, Cafe.
It's a drizzly chilly day here. Nice and cozy inside with the wood stove and a freshly brewed pot of maple coffee.
I cleaned up all the public spaces in the house for DH's daughters visit so it is very relaxing and smells wonderful. She just left. We haven't eaten yet so are heading down Gigi's Place. Hope we don't find she's closed early again. Digits crossed...

Mornin', y'all!

Blustery and humid after the remnants of TS Nestor rolled through last night. We wound up with about an inch and a half of rain, but no major dramas (that I've heard about, anyway). Forecast high is for 78°, but it's sunny and 79° already, so we'll see about that.

Glad to hear you only got the back end of it.

These are the two cockerels that live with Cheap Shot... Both are his spawns, but neither have started showing aggression. Aside from the look of the black and gold you wouldn't know he was male, no mating attempts or crowing yet (they are 5.5 months). Mini CSC in the back is a bit more rambunctious I'm not sure if he will stay in the same coop or end up elsewhere. He sleeps with the hens and geese in the barn quite a bit.

I knew your hen/rooster split was not the norm of byc, which I've often wondered about. Mine will fight now and again, mostly in the spring, but as a general rule coexist well. But there are a lot of hens in comparison.

Anyway, always curious as to what other people do and why.

Well clothes on, cat boxes cleaned english muffins for breakfast sharp cheddar left one slice is all had my two cups pancakes and bacon for dinner

Hey Penny, sorry this is a bit late. I don't usually eat it, but when I do its ketchup. If I'm really lucky its got a squirt of siracha in it to kick it up a bit.

Its interesting because it is Asian in origin, but doesn't taste Asian hot to me. Weird.

This is Blacky again. The picture title is,
Ohhhhhhh... girlies.
Blacky was awfully fond of girlies, especially a leg.

Blacky spent the day outside and would reluctantly come into the house to sleep after some persuasion.
I know, I know Spain is a hot place. This is Blacky again just making sure nothing crept up on anyone in the quietness of the snow.
