BYC Café

Yes, it finally went away late afternoon yesterday. I usually feel like I was run over the next day but today isn't too bad.

What did you hear from your most recent xrays? I'm sorry if I missed it!

Glad to hear you're back to your usual self IM!

I went to the orthopedic guy yesterday. He showed me the x-rays and the CT scan, that was interesting to see :)

What they decided was that the osteoarthritis in my foot was so bad, I was walking off-kilter to avoid putting pressure on it. That's caused some soft tissue damage around my ankle. So we're going to try therapy for 2-4 weeks. Hopefully that will help but if not, will have to try either some sort of injections or surgery.

So time will tell  Thanks for asking :hugs

What are you building? Fencing for chickens or other animals?
Roof for the run I built, and I want to fence the whole Turkey town area.
This is the run...two of my pullets flew out of the run yesterday! So I need to finish up.

Love it! I have a muscovy and polish that fly over my 8 ft fencing, I just let them at this point. They love free ranging the whole yard, but always know to go back at a certain time.

The Polish has actually been going in the chicks run which is a 30x40 ft dog kennel. I think she likes that she is the biggest one :gig

I'm submitting an adoption application for this boy.

He's an owner surrender because they were "moving out of the area and couldn't take him with them." Pretty typical.
He has a sweet face with a soft expression.
He lived with a Great Dane. He is 4 years old.
After I submit the application, the shelter will walk him through the cat holding area to see how he reacts to the cats in the cages and then walk him with some small dogs to see how he is with them. I will also ask if the vet that services that Humane Society to listen to his heart to make sure he doesn't have a murmur.
If he passes those tests, we'll load up the littles and Shadow and go meet him.
Oh, he's beautiful, DL! :love
