BYC Café

I know you didn't mean to post the kitty photo, but it made me laugh! :lau
I took this picture to send it to my husband while I was on the phone with him during his lunch break because this cat has been insane all morning. His tail was bushy like a squirrels and he was getting frisky with the dogs. He whacked Lucy in the butt with his claws and then he tried to do it to Molly, but Molly turned around and almost got him:lau he's crazy!

Yep, wild cotton tail rabbits.
We were going to use the skin of an animal and rub it on the lawn to see how good our beagle can track, but we never got to it.

I know that she can hunt socks like a pro :lau

She's just a lazy beagle now who's afraid of guns when the neighbors are target shooting.

@N F C and @Meg-in-MT, I hope birth is you can find the right doctors to help you. Being in chronic pain is the pits.
I'm in a similar situation but it's my eye. It always hurts and is red and I can see a little bump near the iris. I just signed up for vision insurance so I can get a good exam with a (hopefully) good doctor to find out what's wrong.
That's good you are getting insurance. Is that through your work (if you don't mind me asking)? I hope they figure it out. Constant eye pain sounds awful.
I know the feeling, Meg. Tomorrow marks the 2 year anniversary of my father's death. Not a single day has passed that I don't think of him and miss him.
So I'll take a hug or two and offer some of my own. :hugs:hugs:hugs
That's tough that you not only lost your Dad, but that it's in the midst of the holidays as well. Sending you hugs from far away :hugs:hugs:hugs

@Meg-in-MT I'll take a :hugs for me as I am 'hurty' today. Can't be that little bit of snow shoveling, can it ? And I will donate :hugs :hugs. If I must say so, I am a world class hugger.
I hope you start feeling better soon, Sour! Sometimes our bodies need to get in the swing of new motions. Funny how it doesn't seem like that big of deal until the next day or so. By the end of the winter you'll probably be right as rain. Mostly :p
And thanks for the world class hug. Needed one of those. And right back atcha :hugs:hugs:hugs

It's still pissing down here and now the temperature is hover around 2C.:(
I'm running out of dry trousers. May as well go out naked and rush.
Had to bring in a one of Knocks cockerels who for some unknown reason hadn't sought shelter and was soaked through and still standing in the wind shivering.
Thankfully all the others have the sense to seek shelter. Mel's chicks took no chances and headed straight to my house first thing this morning and stayed all day.
