Me too - irregardless of subject. :lau.

Wind is my least favorite weather occurrence.
You and my uncle would get along great  He was telling me a story when he was here this summer and slipped in an "irregardless". I stopped him..."What did you just say??" He's like "I know, I know. I hate when people say that". Now it's a running joke. :p

Sounds like a bra size!

He was shocked. Electrocuted is dead by electric shock traditionally. It does appear that the meaning is changing though

Ron, people no longer speak as they used to. Definitions have changed according to whoever and words have been blended to mean the same thing. I'm told layed is an old form of laid. Old form, or folks didn't know how to spell? Was the misspelling so common place it was changed later to accomodate? I think the same happens with definitions. I don't like it...words have meaning and changing that definition because people don't use it properly annoys me.

Disclosure here: I'm not saying ANYONE in this thread isn't capable of spelling or defining words. This post is about me and my annoyance that word definitions change and I feel they shouldn't. Don't feel hurt about it.
