Grass fed butter for me! Yum!!

I'm a real butter fan. There was a time in the UK where lots of people moved to margarine. It never tasted like butter to me. You can buy a really not PC butter here made a few miles North of here. It's got twice the usual salt content.

Got a crap job on for Sunday. One of the sheep has got a grass/hay barb embedded in her neck and it's got infected. It's got to come out. The sheep really need an autumn half shear. Normally it's done in the spring to help keep the cooler in the summer.

Morning or Afternoon thanks for the cup sour late in today just layed in bed felt good no pain even feel the feet I cook with butter we use can't believe it spreads great it will melt well, I cook with butter ... slow morning here still working over food finally took out pork cutlets bone in for dinner

I've been going through my chicken pictures looking for a picture for an article I'm writing and noticed this picture.
This is Rosehip. She got dumped in the woods and I found her. In the picture she's been here quite a few months and looks fantastic compared to how she looked when I found her. This was the best I could do with reshaping her beak with a file gradually over a few months. Her beak had just been cut off square by whoever had her before.

They cut my Dolly's beak before I got her. I love her to pieces.

You can't see so well in the picture but when whoever cut the beak they split the top. The two halves did grow together again.
Who in heavens would do that is a very interesting question on this particular forum. You will find plenty of advice on beak trimming with various implements for various reasons.
I find it completely disgusting. I never clip. If something is wrong I file very very carefully.

Nope the farm did it to keep chickens from pecking each other. Her sister is the same way.
