Snow over wind - easy choice. Snow and then wind :barnie. Back in '67 daughter was two months old and we had a fairly significant snowstorm. Shouldn't have been a major problem, but it got really windy and our road had 6' to 7' drifts. Power went out, and it took 3 days and a V plow to clear the road and restore power.
Yikes, that sounds terrible. Did you have wood heat?

Here is the breaker panel. You can see why it needed a facelift.

We had no heat. It was not extremely cold outside so I think house maintained well above freezing. In laws were visiting, and my FIL ran out of cigarettes and alcohol. He shoveled the drive all the way to the road. "Okay, Dad, now what are you going to do?" :lau

Oh jeez, I feel like it might have been stressful for some

Agh! No, you two! :gig

Maybe Ron needs some to blow some smoke away?? Or Shad, to dry off his wet chickens? (it was raining, there, right?)

Desperate effort there Meg :lau

Ok, ok I won't send it your way either. I try to share and look what happens.

Pretty looking kitchen Meg and the red panel looks perfect!
Thanks, Debby! The glass top on my stove got broken on Friday, so I have to try and find a new one for it. Seems like there's a lot of turnover on appliances. Really hoping I can get one :fl
