21.9F wasn't quite expecting that but it is what it is! New garbage company is hours later than the old one - 1:45 pm here. Still no pick up. Old one was done in the morning.

Good evening Cafe.
Sunny day here. Dry enough now to get something done.
Made and fitted a new winter door for Tribe 1's coop finally. Cleaned out a few coops.
Rat proofed the bottom of the ducks coop.
I'm making some alterations to some older nest boxes to stop chicken crap going in them from the roosting chickens above.
It's got cold now, about zero and dropping. There's cloud coming in from the South so mid early morning hours that should stop a hard freeze.

Our breaker box is in the basement and just drab gray but I don't care, as long as things work.

Our breaker box it outside of the house at the corner of the garage. Luckily in here the weather is nice enough so that we can get to it. Of course a bad guy could kill the power to the house quite easily....

We get some ferocious winds when it feels like it. In Chicago they call it "The Hawk," and I know a lot of places have it worse. I remember winds where I could not open the car door- the wind wouldn't allow it. It also tore a down spout off the house but, it is what it is!

Maybe Ron needs some to blow some smoke away?? Or Shad, to dry off his wet chickens? (it was raining, there, right? )

We are smoke free! but the wind would blow away the fog....
