Difficult to get lost in Barcelona for many hours.
He may have lost other items though. including common sense and his wallet and underwear.
I dare say he'll turn up eventually.

I know antibiotics are very popular just in case and I'm sure if I post on BYC I'll be told Baytril will be fine.
My policy is take them to the vet first. Self inflicted complaints are a long way down the list.
