I had hard molters here but the feathers I just compost I guess need to get new shavings in boxes good as time as any later friends

What did they do with them the persons post you saw?
She made hairpieces and greeting cards, various crafts. She washed them in dish soap and water, sanitized with white vinegar and when they're dry she puts them in ziplock bags in the garage so any bugs (if they had them) would freeze. I'll find the thread for you.
Bet you could use them to make fishing lures too.
I want to go fishing this year so maybe I will make my own and use them.
There ya go! I know a guy that's a fly fishing guide and owns a tackle shop where they tie their own. Apparently barred rock feathers are a popular one.
DD2 made dreamcatchers with ours.

Unfortunately, don't know a thing about tying fly's or fly fishing in general. Maybe I'll give them to my niece and nephews for crafts?

Well main coop is clean girls do not really want to go out in the snow both the marans cockerels where came in as I finished it is cold

Is that abnormal for you? I don't normally have so many molt quite that hard. Everyone's either got their feathers back or almost, now.
