Which is why we are now seeing the Cafe over capacity. It's a fire hazard!

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is on the stove.
Blue skies and sunshine, around 13C.
Hurry managed to get an egg in the nest box finally instead of running down the path and laying it on the way.
Knock hatched three and Bracket hatched four. That's definitely it for Knock because there aren't any more eggs.
Bracket has two more eggs but she was trying to encourage the chicks out of the nest this morning so I think she's had enough.

Are you going to need to find homes for any of the new chicks or do you have room for them?

Good morning, Cafe. One more day of work and then it's back to dad's house to keep working on that.
Winter is blowing back in today. We've already got the wind and the temps are dropping throughout the day. It's expected to dip down to 11F tonight with a high of 19F tomorrow... now that's more like it!

Today is supposed to be windy and mid 50s. After that it may drop quite a bit. The daffodils are coming up already! Weird winter.

I will get chastised for saying that when father George shows up but I like 4 seasons. I would rather have a proper NY winter than replace it with a new season called MUD. I hate mud!!

Shad, how many new chicks do you have in total now? Hope all are doing ok.

Woke up to 5* this morning, chilly! But for the first time in ages we're supposed to get into the upper 30's so that's going to seem nice.

A few quick showers this morning, then the forecast is for mostly sunny, breezy, high mid-70's (20's C). Tonight we go down around freezing, and back to our regularly scheduled season. Ah, well, it's been nice while it lasted.
