Morning again need to get my rear in gear do a few coops but thought I would say hi to all again... Funny we had snow falling at 9 light dusting as it started to melt more fell now stopped again View attachment 2004757

I think she looks like a staffie to me. Those muscles

Staffies have super thick, muscular legs/build like that. Of course lots of dogs can but still. Her chest/front end look one to me too. Also very muscular and pretty wide. Not quite as wide as some but she’s a mix and also female. And the head also looks at least partly staffie/bully breed to me.

I agree the traits aren’t 100% obvious at first but look close enough and I do see it.

And she’s got the coloring and lean build of the Vizla.

That said, mixes are just that... mixes and the traits are not predictable or reliable to they can end up looking nothing like either parent or looking strongly like one breed they have the least percentage of, or looking like a totally different breed they’re not, etc. depending how the traits interact.

So even if she doesn’t necessarily look like a breed, she could still be it.

That said, what DNA test did you do? A lot of them are not reliable and have said purebreds are mixes before lol there’s only really two that are reliable and those are Embark and Wisdom Panel. Embark is pretty expensive but also tests for a bunch of genetic diseases and traits and stuff so worth it if you’re interested in that sort of thing. Wisdom Panel is fairly accurate and not too expensive.

Might be worth trying one of those if you are truly interested.

Either way, she is a beautiful dog.

I’ve been eating really healthy lately!! Well, yesterday and today lol

It might, but more likely she'll just want some of that breed to go with every other animal she wants

It means that they have dew claws in the front and the back

No, it means they have 2 dew claws on each front foot, might have them on the back as well.

The double dew claws is having 2 of them on each foot. Like one above the other. Gator had them because he was half Great Pyrenees and I’m pretty sure Franklin has one. Yup, only one double dew on one foot

Hi everyone. We may get our first snow of the season tomorrow.
Today I worked on cutting boards and painting them for the packing crate coop. And I cut plywood for part of the door, then painted that. It is pretty cool out there, but the sun warms you up some. Dreading the nastiness tomorrow.

Oh whoops... I just assumed all dogs had them on both front and back...

Still though, double is a specific thing where they have 2 on one foot.

I think if they do have them on the back they just call them rear dewclaws not double
