If I ran to the vet every time my dogs broke a nail, I'd be at the vet weekly.

I have lots of red cherry shrimp, fun to watch. They have to be in the tank where nobody will eat them.

And what does eat them? The biggest fish I have is a single rainbow shark.
I had a crayfish once. It ate my striped kuhli loach

Just about any fish will eat the shrimp. I think baby guppies will be ok. Maybe neons.

I have quick stop, but she was left with part of a nail hanging and wouldn't allow me to cut it off. The veterinarian has lidocaine.

My husband has had to hold our dogs for me. He holds the pit lab in the air so I can cut her nails he puts both arms under her stomach and it works.

I'm going to buy a grooming table soon. I groom jolene a lot and it's full haircuts too. I usually do it sitting on the floor with her but some days easy not easy getting back up

I saw a cool idea for doing dog nails. You get a big purse the size of the dog. Cut a hole in each corner, and insert legs. Hang bag up in the air and cut toenails easily.

Love my grooming table have had it for years wish I still had my old hydraulic
table but kinda glad I do not have to old trick don't have nail stop use corn starch
works the same add a bit more flour to it the same

I start trimming toenails when they are puppies and easy to handle. I am very careful about not trimming to the quick so that they become accustomed to the process. On the old dogs if I happen to hit the quick all I get is a dirty look, a yelp, and a little bit of blood.
