Morning. My cat woke me up twice early this morning, once at 2:00am, second time at 4:00am.

My cats fight and chase each other around on and off all night. Mother and son, both neutered.

Yes, she acts, & sounds old.

Sounds old? How? Like wheezing or something or? I don’t think it’s quite normal for her to be acting and sounding old so young... between this, and the licking/fur loss issue you mentioned, I really think this is sounding more and more like a food issue...

Huh, interesting. Maybe it’s a respiratory problem or something rather than just old age?? Luna doesn’t have a raspy meow as far as I know and she’s 9 almost 10.

She is breathing fine, no wheezing, no gunk. She's as healthy as a cat should be.
She's trying to get some chicken from my mom right now.

Yep, she was the only one in the litter who had white on her. Her siblings were all Mackerel Tabby. She's what's called a Tabbico.
