BYC Café

Morning! I obviously do not stress about mountain lions. They shot that one by the way. It is a rare occurrence to even see one in reality but the sick and deranged animals, two and four, always seem to take up the news and get attention and therefore seem to be many...
So I guess this will be my only Cafe for a few weeks, not that I was a cafe party animal before, lol! Here is my Spring day weather. .. "Patchy freezing drizzle before 7am, then patchy snow showers and freezing drizzle between 7am and 10am, then snow showers after 10am. Patchy fog before noon. "
Hot cross buns and coffee sounds great! Thanks and be safe too!
Funny that getting killed by a car, doesn't make the news, but lions do.

Morning Old Folks woke up to Snow ... We rarely see it in the winter let alone in March
not very much at all... Wouldn't ya know I uncovered my brussle spouts yesterday

Sad.
I was awaken at 3 in the morning by Bella relentlessly pacing the room. It was raining when I put her and the other two outside.
It is now a warm, sunny and very breezy 58F. I have all the windows open and am enjoying this little taste of spring.

@ronott1 I’m searching for your yeast starter recipe. I haven’t found it yet, but I’m seeing random tips popping up from you & other people.

Question:
How would you feel about writing a quick article on Yeast 101 with the recipe & a few tips?

This would be a great service for people especially right now with all of the chaos & uncertainty. I hope you will seriously consider it.

Sourdough starter?

It can take up to 6 months for a new sourdough starter to be able to raise dough without commercial yeast added to the recipe

It is a good thing to have since is seems like commercial yeast is in short demand due to the virus

Please let me know what you want the article to be about and I will work on one
