Diva not too scary. Hold a lit match to the burner, then turn it on or a lighter have the flame on first.. This is coming from lots of years with gas stoves both Natural gas and propane

That is the only way to light our 1931 stove. I use one of those long lighter things. They sell them at the grocery store and are refillable but of course the store doesn't carry the refill butane, had to get it from Amazon.

Well... It did plug itself into the wrong receptacle yesterday morning. So I locked it into the maternity ward this morning.

There is often a bit of adjustment needed with any new "appliance"

I was talking to my eldest this morning and a bit of the way through the conversation she mentioned I was talking gibberish. She's not noted for mincing her words. Further, she mentioned that my emails were getting increasingly difficult to understand.
I was talking to one of the main house occupants today and heard myself say a few sentences in which not only was the grammar all over the place, but I had substituted Catalan words for English.
I'm getting my languages mixed up and the whole sentence structure goes to shite.

Good morning Cafe there where no auto starts on Ma's old stove we grew up with she had the box of wood matches she would lite the burners with .. We do have long handled lighters refillable ...

I would worry about you Shad but you are quiet coherent here. Are you getting so fluent in Catalan that you don't have to think in English (or Scottish ) and then translate? Seems like you are making the Catalan-English version of Spanglish.
